The ARChive of Contemporary Music, NY has launched India Music Week (October 6-13, 2013). The Combustibles re-issue and a commentary by Nissim Ezekiel is featured on the event web site.

“The Combustibles managed to perfect garage rock and prefigure punk in their one and only release, “Watch Her” from 1971. A recent re-release out of the UK on Harkit Records this July, and a incredibly complete website has finally given them their long overdue, due.” — India Music Week

Exclusive Commentary by Combustible Nissim Ezekiel “Classic Rock and India – Many Connections”

Just thought I would say, that having been there, done that and “bought the T-shirt” so to say, this website is an excellent piece of work. And my personal thanks goes to you, Nissim Ezekiel, and his young nephew, Joshua Kostka, who without a doubt worked tirelessly to put together a website that is top-notch and in step with current websites. Its an amazing work of art! Congratulations, to both of you.

Ps. Nissim, I take it you wrote out all the stuff here, and yet, you quietly left your own self out! That’s not good, my friend. Each one of us played our part, regardless of what the individual parts were! The real truth about The Combustibles band is this: That together, we made great music, and that is what’s being talked about really!!! So, you’d best own up to your part, matey!
